In a nutshell, it is a hard cost we incur (each email sent). Under the covers we use Mailgun (which most platforms do). Most CRMs either charge by number of contacts or by emails sent. Those that charge by number of contacts generally also have overage fees or subscriber sending fees over a certain amount.

We decided to simply charge for actual sends as we get charged (we pass the cost along). We also give you $30 in free credits each month (they expire in that month) that will cover those first 10,000 emails.

We will also let you attach your own mailgun account, and connect it, so you don't receive any charges from us. You can pay them directly.You may want to check out mailgun.com or some of the other CRMs and look at what they would charge for 150k emails a month. Once you see the fine print, it may make more sense.
